U.S. Tour
In September 2009, Dr. Freddy Elbaiady was invited to visit several organizations, and churches in the US where he spoke about the service and the goals of SMC and how people can learn form SMC experience, the tour included successful visits to 9 states from east to west coast. Positive feed back was received from organizations and church groups. Great results were obtained at the level of equipment donation, and volunteers and networking.

New in-patient room
Operating Theater soon to re-open
Great steps have been accomplished towards fulfilling the new health regulations requirements to get the operations theater back to work. New in-patient floor (10 beds) is added, an elevator is installed, the reception area is widened. Intensive care unit and neonatal ventilators as well as new physiotherapy department will soon operate
